Fiscal Responsibility
- Completed seven audits in three years to restore the financial stability of Lincolnville and repair the damage caused by past administrations.
- Paid off more than $215,000 in past due bills left by the previous administration, restoring financial stability and making Lincolnville eligible for federal, state, and private funding.
- Balanced budgets with greater transparency in town operations.
- Negotiated with town's service providers to lower and waive late fees the town accrued during the past administration
Public Safety
- Purchased a brand-new fire truck in 2022.
- Expanded the Fire Department fleet with a mini-pumper, brush truck, and other vehicles in 2023 and 2024 using $275,000 USDA grant
Infrastructure & Town Facilities
- Renovated the Charles Ross Municipal Complex with a new roof, ramp, railings, reseal parking lot, new security system, new computers, and communication upgrades.
- Renovated Town Hall Kitchen with commercial stove, refrigerator and sink
- Replace icemaker in the fire station
- Replaced fencing around the ballfield and dugout
- Repaired and resurfaced roads including Thomas, Pinckney, Pine, Calhoun, Nash and Slidel Streets.
- Lincoln Ave was resurfaced with rumble strips for 3.5 miles for citizen optimum safety
- Advanced sidewalk projects through the SMART Street Grant.
- Currently working with Charleston County and North Charleston sewer district to eliminate the use of septic tanks for residents.
- Obtained a $1.5 million grant from the SC Resolving Fund to replace water lines
Community Growth & Development
- Partnered with Hunter Quinn Homes to construct 122 single and multi -family homes by 2025.
- Oversaw development of subdivisions and new housing, with three annexations into town limits in 2023.
- Hired a commercial building inspector and strengthened collaboration with regional developers.
Services for Families & Children
- Secured $481,000 from the American Rescue Plan to support the renovation of Town Hall for expanded community use.
- Hosted Back-to-School events that have served more than 1,000 students and community members with school supplies, food, resources, and family activities.
- Improved playgrounds with new fencing, equipment, and a ribbon-cutting reopening ceremony.
Beautification & Community Pride
- Launched the Town Beautification Project, which includes adding palm trees, removing junked areas, installing new town signs, and manicured landscaping throughout Lincolnville.
- Installed American flags and improved lighting at town entrances.
- Hosted the first Lincolnville Christmas Parade in 26 years and brought back the May Day Festival for the first time in decades, restoring beloved community traditions.
- Expanded community events including tree lightings, Easter Egg Hunts, and public safety fairs.
Heritage & History
- Secured Lincolnville’s addition to the Reconstruction Era National Historic Network, opening opportunities for federal funding.
- Partnered with the Lincolnville Preservation & Historical Society on genealogy workshops, cultural lectures, and town heritage events.
Community Support & Partnerships
- Partnered with the Community Resource Center to provide food, school supplies, hygiene products, and essential services.
- Worked with the South Carolina Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) and local agencies to help families manage water bills.
- Increased salaries for all town employees by an average of 35 percent as of July 2022 to ensure all Lincolnville staff has a living wage.
